Here’s a selection of photographs from our recent Awards Evening for last year’s Year 11 students. Many thanks to everyone who attended.
It’s been another successful year for GCSE results at Ridgeway High School:
- 54% of students achieved 9-4 grades in Mathematics
- 55% of students achieved 9-4 grades in English
- 15% of the Year 11 students achieved the higher 9-7 grades for Mathematics.
Tony Taylor, Headteacher, said: ‘I am delighted for the students who have had an anxious wait to see their results as this is the first year of the new 9-1 exams for English and Maths. Exam success is only achieved when staff and students work together with determination and commitment. Well done to everyone. These results give the school a great platform to build from as we move into our new school building this September.’
Achievement at A*-C in other subjects included:
- 63% in Science
- 80% in RE
- 100% in Performing Arts
- 90% in French
- 78% in Spanish
Levi Karisa and Georgia Gibbons both achieved 5 or more GCSEs at grade 7 / A or higher.
Year 7 and 10 Maths Achievements
