Our most able Year 9 and Year 10 students had a fantastic time at Liverpool University on their university taster day. Here are some photographs from the day. More details to follow.
Day Two of the humanities trip to London included a visit to the Houses of Parliament as well as a chance to see Buckingham Palace. Many thanks to Frank Field MP who took the time to meet with us. Click on any picture to see a larger version.

“On 14 December we held our annual Christmas lunch for senior citizens from the local community. This seasonal event involves students preparing and cooking a full Christmas lunch before serving it to our guests. The students worked tremendously hard throughout the day and showed outstanding catering and hospitality skills. One guest said: ‘The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I have had such a lovely time and it’s got me fully into the Christmas spirit.’ As this comment shows, everyone had a very enjoyable time and the feedback we got was really positive.”
Well done to the following students, who were involved throughout the day: Jasmine Wilks; Amy Major; Emilie Thompson; Dylan King; Amy Mander; Jessica Johnson ; Corey Crabtree; Korey Johnson; Duncan Layfield.
