The key principles underpinning our behaviour strategy are set out below.
We expect students to behave well at all times. Appropriate behaviour for learning in the classroom is important so that every student has the opportunity to learn and to make outstanding progress. Appropriate behaviour around school is important so that Ridgeway High School functions safely and efficiently as a community of people.
We will be clear about what we expect and will continually remind students of our expectations.
We expect adults in school to model the very highest standards of behaviour and we expect parents and families to support the school in the implementation of our behaviour strategy.
All students and staff are entitled to be treated with respect and sensitivity. We expect everyone in school to treat each other with respect and to follow the school code of conduct, which was drawn up in consultation with students.
